Lightning web components perform better and are easier to develop than Aura components. However if we choose to develop Lightning web components, we also may need to use Aura, because LWC doesn’t yet support everything that Aura does. Lightning web components are supported in many Salesforce experiences and tools. To use a Lightning web component with an unsupported experience or tool we can wrap it in an Aura component.
